Schrodinger's Brexit - Dead or Alive

In simple terms, Schrödinger's Cat is a 'thought experiment' in which  you place a cat in a box (go on try it, get it in the box first) and rig up something that could kill it (phial of poison released at random, according to the laws of quantum physics, by a radioactive particle) and seal the box, you will not know if the cat is dead or alive until you look at the cat when you open the box, so that until the box was opened, the cat is (in a sense) both "dead and alive".  (This is quantum theory, now scientists say the cat is both dead and alive at the same time.  Wow, tell that to the cat.)

Now tHE bACK pAGE Esoteric Research Group (ERG) (yes it is) has formulated a radical development of the Cat know as BREXIT Schrodinger (he was European so he wants the cat to Remain in the Box without opening it  obviously).

This ground-breaking (or was it wind- ?) proposal came as a result of an experiment with chemicals which were not inhaled after the ERG forced themselves to watch non-stop Parliament TV for 72 hours whilst reading The Daily Excess and Hansard at the same time.

What they have discovered is that people are confused about Brexit because they do not understand that experimental animals (MPs) locked in a "House" may or may not be approving or disapproving of Brexit all at the same time" and we will not know the outcome until the House has been closed or opened.  Or possibly not.

Unfortunately, the ERG did not count on two variables.  One, the subjects of the experiment foiled a "prorogation" (a crafty algorhythm) unexpectedly with an unforeseen "act".   Also, a previous test group had ensured the House could not be closed for a fixed term, and anyway getting enough cyanide proved impossible.   We did try ....

BTW, recently scientists have spent a lot of research money to show many years after Schrodinger was placed in his final box that the cat is BOTH dead and alive until you open the box (not the one with Schrodinger in it, please).  BTW2, quantum theory along stuff by Einstein is the world's most successful scientific theory without which there would be no tv, facebook, IT etc etc.   We opened that Box .....

Alive and/or Dead?   Who knows?

Conclusion: this BREXIT Schrodinger Theory demonstrates the futility of second-guessing what Brexit is, means or what will happen.   Conclusion 2:  Find a way to get that cyanide into there.

No cats were harmed in the making of this thought experiment.
